Mint issues serialized 2025 Collection Book

The Royal Canadian Mint has released its only collector product for May with the launch of the 2025 Annual Collection Book with Special Edition Uncirculated Set on May 5.

The Annual Collection Book continues to build momentum as a comprehensive, visually driven record of the Mint’s annual output. The 2025 edition highlights coins issued throughout the year, including circulation pieces, collector coins, proof sets and bullion products, supported by detailed specifications, high-quality photography, interviews and behind-the-scenes content.

Limited to 3,000 serialized copies worldwide, each book includes an exclusive Special Edition Uncirculated Set not available for individual purchase. The six-coin set features paired colourized and non-colourized versions of three 2025 circulation themes: the $1 marking the 150th anniversary of the Supreme Court of Canada, and two $2 coins recognizing the life and art of Daphne Odjig and honouring Canada’s Unknown Soldier.

The coins follow standard circulation specifications, with the $1 struck in three-ply brass-plated steel and the $2 pieces featuring a bi-metallic composition of nickel-plated steel outer rings and brass-plated aluminum bronze cores. Selective colour is applied to the colourized versions. The 2025 edition maintains the format and packaging introduced with last year’s debut release while expanding its editorial content, including additional interviews, quotes and production insights.
